“You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32 NIV).

Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible is the divinely inspired, perfect Word of God; that it is truth without prescription medicines any mixture of error, and that it contains all that we need to know for faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28:19)

We believe Jesus Christ is God’s Son, that He was born of a virgin mother, that He lived a sinless life on earth, that He was crucified for the sins of all men, that He was buried, that He was risen from the dead to walk among humanity, that He ascended up to heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father, and that He will come again in victory to claim His bride, the church. (Matthew 1:21-23; John 19:17-18; John 14:1-3)

We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, live in the individual, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. (John3:5-8; John 14:16-17; John 16:8; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 5:18-21)

We believe that eternal salvation is an irrevocable gift from God and is obtained only by His grace through faith in His Son Jesus Christ. (John 10:28; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 8:35-39)

We believe in baptism by immersion as an act of spiritual obedience and a testimony of one’s death to his old way of life and a rebirth to a new life in Christ. We further believe that baptism is not a means of being saved, but a symbol of that which has already taken place within the believer. (Romans 6:1-4; Galatians 2:20; Colossians 2:12)

We believe in the priesthood of the individual believer where each born again believer has direct access to the Father through Jesus Christ. We also believe that each individual soul is totally competent to represent itself before God (1 Peter 2:9; Hebrews 7:25)

We believe that Jesus established His Church to be an earthly manifestation of His Kingdom. We believe that we have been placed here to be salt and light to the world in which we can make a major difference, and that we are a major asset for the Lord’s Kingdom and its expansion. (Matthew 16:15-19).

We believe that every believer has been given one or more spiritual gifts, which are to be discovered and developed for the edification of the church. (Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:11-13)
